Study English Downunder in sunny Perth, Western Australia

Perth claims to be the sunniest capital city of Australia, situated on the Canning
and Swan Rivers and with the Indian Ocean to the west and the ancient Darling Ranges
to the east. The city is both sunny and stunning, with a beautiful harbour and a
modern city-scape to go with it.
Pert is actually closer to Singapore than it is to
Sydney (the capital of Australia, located in New South Wales) and has great
international connections, especially with the larger European cities and the Far
East. Perth has a warm and pleasant climate almost all year round, and is a great
city to stay for those interested in outdoor sports. Its inhabitants (and visitors)
practice sailing, swimming, running, cycling and much more, and the facilities are
great for just about any sport you´re interested in. The city has little pollution
and offers a safe, healthy and friendly environment, making it immensely popular for
both living and studying.
If you´re visiting Perth, make sure you don´t miss the historic part of Freemantle,
this old Harbour City with its many attractions and traditions. This part of the
city, which comprises a few square kilometres, is a dense mix of sights, sounds,
tastes and experiences you will find it hard to forget. The architecture of the
city is 19th century Victorian, mixed with the modern harbour high-rises, and the
city offers a wealth of museums, art galleries, cafés, restaurants and bars.
Make sure you visit the harbour area for some great seafood, and for those who like
fishing, there are some great opportunities to practise this kind of sport too!
